An opportunity to share ideas, to learn, participate, and build something together. That's because of a group of like-minded Albertans who are interested in learning about Alberta land, understanding the opportunities available in the market, and working together to identify and acquire land through a privately held Alberta corporation.

This group will learn how to evaluate land opportunities and how to approach land acquisition as a coordinated organization

The corporation, rather than individual members, will acquire and hold any property that it purchases.

Participants will not receive an ownership in any particular parcel of land. Instead, participation is through the corporation and is subject to its corporate documents and shareholder agreements.

The intention is to create a long-term organization whose members contribute knowledge, experience and resources toward identifying worthwhile Alberta land opportunities.

Every participant will be offered the opportunity to learn how we evaluate land.

*Understanding zoning and land-use rules

*Reading municipal plans

*Evaluating access and servicing

*Researching comparable properties

*Understanding development potential

*Negotiating land purchases

*Evaluating risk

*Working with municipalities and professionals

*Understanding financing and carrying costs.

Participation does not represent ownership of any particular property, and no particular investment return or increase in share value is promised.

Any securities or shares of Alberta Land Consortium will only be issued in accordance with applicable Alberta corporate and securities laws and the corporations governing documents.

Participation in educational activities does not itself constitute an offer to purchase securities.

The objective is to build a group of people who understand how to find, evaluate and acquire land intelligently.

Everyone must qualify as a  self-certified Albertan investor to fall under the guidelines of the Alberta Securities Commission for private companies. No shares are being offered at this time. Future consideration is only possible if all guidelines are met.

We all know that political changes are coming, but we don't know with any certainty what those changes may be. The smart thing to do is to plan ahead for potential changes and be ready. We will make decisions as a group, and we will keep our costs low while creating legal entities that will stand the test of a nation in transition.

A group of Alberta entrepreneurs and legal minds have researched the legal ramifications of the possibility of Alberta separating from Canada and have determined that the best strategy and protection for political reasons is to own a piece of Alberta during the transition period. 

We have the most beautiful scenery in the world.

We are the friendliest and most peaceful civilization on earth.

We have major cities, Edmonton and Calgary. (and two of the greatest hockey teams in the world)

We have a vast cattle country and world famous "Alberta Beef".

We are the "breadbasket" of North America, with all of the cereal crops.

Those things make us independent and self-sufficient.

Alberta products can be found all around the globe.

We have Boreal Forest and a massive forestry, pulp, paper, and lumber products industry.

We have the clearest springs and best tasting fresh water supply in the world.

Alberta also holds an abundance of rare earth elements, gold and minerals, lithium, uranium, vanadium, coal, titanium, helium, nickel, copper, cobalt, and large potash reserves near our border with Saskatchewan. We have the third largest oil and natural gas reserves on the planet.

Albertans are happy, healthy, free, and we live well. If we, as Albertans were smart about it, we would decide to be our own independent nation. Someday that will happen. And let's own some of it!
